Paint Cabins
The painting of a helicopter blade is one of the most complex operations in the painting industry, as it is a rotating wing and as such carries with it a whole series of processes to ensure the weight balance, including the applied paint.
To achieve this performance, the system has been designed to eliminate any manual handling and to guarantee through a “recipe” all the twenty-seven stages of which the blade painting process is made up: by setting it from one of the pulpits of which the plant is composed, the shovel, hooked into the loading station, automatically reaches all the work stations where it is to undergo the process; in particular, the paint polymerisation oven, of the revolver type, is placed in the centre of two painting booths which automatically feed it and each blade, whose supporting bar has its own identification code, will undergo the curing process in a pre-established time and temperature, to be ejected automatically and continue the last process phases until reaching the finished product storage warehouse.
