For the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner programme, a new clean room has been set up at the Pomigliano d’Arco aerostructure division plant, occupying one of the production departments for about 3000 square metres. The air-conditioning systems, to guarantee the thermo-hygrometric characteristics of the air all year round, are placed outside, while the air ducts reach the areas above the clean room.
